GCU had 3 current students and one former student, competing at the British Athletics World Championship qualifiers, this past weekend in Birmingham.

Chloe Lambert (200m), James Bownesss (800m), Anna Tait (1500m) and Luke Trayner (5000m) all represented their respective club teams.

Chloe placed 5th in her heat, with Anna coming 10th in hers.

James made it to the final of the 800m, before coming home in 6th place, in a tactical race.

Alumni Luke, had a superb run for 5th place, running 14.09. Beating Olympian Chris Thompson in the process!
