Bowness selected for Taipei

A massive congratulations is in order for GCU athlete James Bowness, who has been selected to represent the British Student team at the World University Summer Games.

James is one of 20 British Athletes selected and will compete over 800m.

The event this year is being held in Taipei, Chinese Taipei from the 19th - 30th August. The Universiade is widely recognised as the second largest multisport Games in the world after the Olympics and progressively has risen to World Class in scale and standard, with over 10,000 participants from 150+ countries.
